Around early 2019 (Possibly March) I decided that I wanted to get back into drawing, specifically drawing faces (for now) and female faces because those are super popular and mainly 3/4 view, things I’ve never really done before, or done in depth anyway.
I used a variety of sources to study and get advice from in order to make the drawings. The sketches below are from the start to whenever I felt my drawings began to look too good to be putting into a lined notebook. Then, I switched to The Grey Sketchbook!
For those wondering the materials used was literally just a ballpoint pen and the paper was that of a 5 ½ in x 3 ½ Mead Five Star Notebook. However, later I would begin using Sakura Pigma Micron pens but still sticking with the ballpoint pen as it was easier to shade. Images go in chronological order though if you would like to go in reverse and start from the end (good drawings) feel free to do that. The gallery is 158 images long.
